A Round of Applause - My Mentors

My mentor list starts with a Thai Singer. Thai's post about Let the Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist was so well written. In this post Thai described her feelings about the idea of love at first sight. I think that the most important part of blogging is to write with passion and write about your feelings. What i loved the most about this post was that Thai really let her feelings and opinions shine through. Thai didn't spend eight paragraphs retelling this story, she wrote about her theory, expanded on it and wrote how she felt about the characters, her theory and her personal experiences. This post was well written, passionate and with out a doubt a great mentor. Great job Thai!

My next worthy mentor is Kayla Cruz.  Kayla's post was about The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks. What I love about this post was that Kayla's post left me with so many thoughts. I also think leaving your reader with questions is an important part of blogging. Whenever i write my blog I want people to think about what I write and I think Kayla did just that. I have never read The Last Song but after reading Kayla's post i have so many thoughts about the last song and about the idea of teen relationships. Kayla's post was really well
written and thought provoking. Great work Kayla :)!

My final mentor is Nushrat Anisha. Anisha's post was about the poem If Not For You by
Joanna Fuchs. What i really loved about
Anisha's post was that Anisha's extension paragraph was so innocently (in a good way) and heartfeltly ( Hope thats a word) written. Anisha's hope for love in the future was so genuine and the language she used was so beautiful. When I read I love to read work that is passionate and i believe that Anisha's piece is exactly that. Great work Anisha!

All of my mentors are such great writers and they should all be very proud of the work they produced.
